I must confess that currently my makeup muse is Cheryl Cole. I identify myself a lot with her powerful and dramatic style, and like her, I love wearing makeup that enhances the eyes.
Check out how you can amplify the eyes with the right makeup:
CHERYL WITH AND WITHOUT MAKEUP – Beautiful both ways, but the size of the eyes is a big difference, right?
To achieve this mega “big eyes” effect, a smokey definitely plays a big role with the eyeliner pulled back to the outer corner of the eyes. However, it is not pulled in the direction of the tip of the eyebrows (as most do), but pulled in the direction of the roots of the hair. It is obvious that you will not apply eye shadow up there (no, please don’t do it, haha) but it is only to follow the direction, follow this “imaginary line”, you know?
Understanding this trick, ready to check out some more of her makeups? Let’s go!
To start off, a brown and copper combination with a shade of coral/red shimmering eye shadow for a smokey. The eyeliner was Egyptian style (it’s that type of outline that is straighter at the corner of the eyes) to finalize the look. For the skin, pink blush and also pink for the lips.
Stunning eyes with a bold smokey of coffee brown and black tones flush to the eyelashes. As you can see, the black is well within the limit of the eyes, yet the brown evens out. Cat bold eyes! The skin has nice a nice bronzer and denude glossy lips.
Here we have the famous black smokey with brown; however it is more pulled back to the outer part of the eyes. To highlight, crystal shimmering eye shadow on the inner corner of the eyes. Bronzing powder and highlighter was applied to the skin, and glossy nude again for the lips.
This makeup is just like the one above, however, instead of the crystal eye shadow, a gold shimmering tone was applied. As for the lips, a burgundy shade. Such a Dive, right?!
Here we see another brown with black smokey. The difference is that there is metallic silver flush to the bottom eyelashes and inner corner of the eyes.
The combination of colors of this makeup is so divine. We can see a reddish pink with shimmer on the eyelids, brown smokey, and black liner to define the eyes. Her skin is bronzed and highlighted, and lips with a tone of caramel glossy.
Once again, bold cat eyes, but this time with dark green eye shadow with shimmers, brown and black. For her skin, pinkish bronze and highlighter. Finally, for her lips she wears a creamy nude lipstick.
This is a makeup that she recently wore on the X Factor. She sported purple flush to the superior and inferior eyelashes. I made a tutorial inspired on this makeup here on this link !
So, which of Cheryl’s makeup should Camila Coelho recreate?
