Hi ladies!

Some of you may have seen that the MET Gala took place on Monday, for those who do not know the event happens to inaugurate a new exhibit at the MET Museum, which this year has the theme: “China: Through the Looking Glass”, honoring China and celebrating their culture, history and fashion relation. The long-awaited red carpet was the talk of the night. I was watching the looks here at home, how about you guys?

I have selected a few of the most eye-catching looks, in my opinion. Check it out:

Kendall Jenner

Kendall always stealing the scene in Calvin Klein’s glamorous gown with cut-outs on the sides which gave a sensual and not vulgar look. Her makeup was simple, but with an incredible cat eye and lots of highlighter.

Beyoncé

beyonce

I had to talk about the most DIVA of them all, Beyonce, only she can pull off this look, right?! Her hair was tied up in a side pony, with a simple makeup and false lashes.

Jennifer Lawrence

Jennifer

Jennifer Lawrence chose a Dior Haute Couture with a super romantic touch. For her hair, a high bun and for her makeup, lots of highlighter, liner and beige pencil along the waterline.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

Rosie

Rosie was stunning wearing Versace, although I felt that her look did not have much to do with the theme of the event, I thought the complete look (makeup and hairstyle also) was super chic.

Sarah Jessica Parker

Sarah

With an extravagant ornament, Sarah Jessica Parker, was perhaps one of the few that really “dressed the event” , and followed the theme of it. The greenish smokey eyes with black liner really opened up her eyes.

Kim Kardashian

kim

In my opinion the Kim was the most stunning one in this Red Carpet, Cavalli’s dress was amazing, one of my favorites of the night, it was the one I wanted the most for me, haha. She looks really good in white and the sheer and tail of the dress fit like a glove for this occasion. Her make was also very simple, almost nothing with well marked eyebrows and a ponytail.

Rihanna

riri

How can we talk about red carpet without mentioning Rihanna? I left her look for last because although many did not like it, I think that the singer played her role, which is to always impress and leave everyone with divided opinions. I did not fall in love with the dress or the color, but I think that when we’re talking about Rihanna, everything works! (Haha) Contrasting with the dress, Riri chose a classic and bold makeup with liner and straight eyebrows to give that oriental touch (LOVE IT).  She left her hair down, and the hair ornament was what won me over.

What did you think of the looks?
