There are some accessories that are increasingly gaining spotlight in fashion. The Panama hats are one of them. In Brazil it is not worn a lot, but in the northern hemisphere we have seen it frequently.
I have seen it a lot and I think that is the ideal item to bring attitude to the look.
Camila Coelho has shown us that she is a fan! During her trip to Greece, she wore them with casual outfits. This is a perfect trend that leaves the outfits a bit more interesting.
On the runways, various designers showed off the trend in different ways. Emilio Pucci and Margiela optaram opted for the more traditional version – handmade, with an irregular dome and a thin strip along the tab.
Armani on the other hand presented a super chic style. With a wider strip, rounded dome and a shorter tip, he gave a touch of femininity and delicacy to the look.
The modern variations arise also in minimalist collections. Margareth Howell and M.Patmos created Panamas with pointier and squared domes with strips of lighter tones of fabrics. Sophistication at it’s finest!
During the same trip to Greece as Camila, Mariah and Lalá chose a the hats to compose their beach looks for a boat trip.
Are you ready to rock out this trend?
Let’s incorporate these hats to our own style.
