A classic symbol of a more rocker style, the famous leather pants gained new forms in recent seasons, bringing more versatility and for being the key piece in different looks.
The international idea of bringing new shapes began in 2013 in vintages versions – like Jason Wu presented in his 2013 Spring/Summer collection – and also in mix of prints and textures, as did Versace, emphasizing two of the main signatures of the brand: luxury and ultra glam fashion!
Since then, creativity has not failed! The brands have highlighted both the classic side of leather pants (Ralph Lauren), as they brought different styles and shorter versions – which, incidentally, reminds us a lot of the cropped flare, trend alert nowadays -, check out Louis Vuitton’s Fall 2016 collection.
Salvatore Ferragamo brought a more revamped look to the leather pants with details that tie around the waist which resulted in a stronger yet delicate style.
The leather can also highlight the essence of a victorian production, as shown in Balmain and Givenchy’s collections.
The new interpretations of the leather pants confirmed the versatility of the piece in being able to transit through more classic styles to super elegant ensembles.
They give a powerful touch to any outfit, emphasizing the woman’s body and looking super stylish.
For those who want to start wearing them but are afraid of going too over the top, go for monochromatic and minimalist looks like the one I put together.
The white detail on the side of my pants helps to emphasize even more the rocker and sophisticated look!
It is definitely a perfect piece for the winter because it will ensure a more elegant and powerful look while still keeping you warm. Go for it!
