Comfort is the key word for this season!

In addition to white sneakers as a symbol of cool and comfy style – often linked to deluxe sportswear – Flats are also a key piece when creating urban productions with a touch of fashion.

Among the new styles, the classic models of pointy toe continues to be a favorite of brands such as Giambattista Valli and Alberta Ferretti in their winter 2016 collections.

One of the brands that immediately comes to mind, when the subject is flats, is my love brand Repetto!

A while ago, I spoke about the history of the brand and my passion for their styles since I was 15 years old, when I went to Paris and I had my first pair.

Since then, whenever I go to Paris, I visit the store and I have the pleasure to serve the communication side of the brand in Brasil.

One of the styles that I have and most like is the pointy toe in royal blue with a satin finish.  At first sight, the color may seem difficult to match with looks that aren’t neutral, but the tone is surprisingly versatile and goes well with earthy hues as well, which creates the perfect harmony between the colors.

The pieces that are winning the hearts of fashionistas are the versions in strips, sometimes with details in spikes and tacks, which contributes to an urban rocker touch to the look (like Bottega Veneta Fall 2016), now as a reinterpretation of the updated ladylike style (Carolina Herrera Fall 2016).

The lace up ballerina flats such as the one that Camila is wearing in the first picture, were highlights on the catwalks by brands such as Michael Kors for the Spring 2015 collection.

The cool thing about these flats is that they can me the main focus of a super fashion look!

Alexander Wang, when he was the creative director for Balenciaga, did justice to the brand’s signature of making fashion a true sculpture and brought elements of English Oxford shoes to create his flats collection for the 2015 Spring/Summer collection.

Despite the colder days (in Brasil), these flats are such versatile options because they go well with fashion looks as to more minimalist and effortless ones.
