My fourth day of NYFW began with Carolina Herrera show – always super feminine and sophisticated! For Summer 2017, the designer brought bulky dresses, shirts with details in the front and oversized chemise. This is the 35th year of history for the brand, therefore, she presented works that have marked time. Everything super was super stylish!
For my look I went for dramatic and flowy, which brought a certain femininity, at the same time. I wore a blouse with maxi-sleeves by Chloé and and a skirt underneath. I finalized with super statement velvet boots (velvet is the fabric of the season – it is worth investing) and a multicolor purse!
My second commitment of the day was the inauguration of Carol Bassi’s Pop Up Store on Madison Ave. Carol is my friend and one of Brazil’s designers that I love the most! Her work is incredible so I couldn’t be happier and proud of this achievement. The collection launched were exclusive pieces sold in the Pop-up of NY and are also being sold in Brazil by Shop2gether.
Carol always surpasses my expectations in each collection. She has the power and an incredible eye for creating pieces that are super trends, with a cool touch and modern shapes. As for the event, I put together a look with pieces from the collection that are available at the Pop Up. I opted for a basic white t-shirt and put over it a lingerie style top – this trend is being worn so much and I saw it a lot in NY. It is a simple style trick, easy and great to amp up the look. To finalize, I wore super comfy velvet shorts.
At night I went to an event and wore this beautiful lipstick from the new collection “COISAS DE QUEM AMA” by Swarovski and the brand Dailus. This partnership was made in commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the brand! There are 6 colors with great pigmentation and matte texture, the best thing is that they are long lasting and doesn’t dry out the lips. In addition, the packaging was done exclusively with Swarovski crystals, so chic! Haha. The color I am wearing is the Nude Gray 12 which looks great with any makeup style.
What did you think my my fourth day of NYFW, ladies?!
