Chic and timeless. The combination between blue and black is stronger than ever. I am delighted with the creative productions that I have been seeing around. In the last international fashion season mixtures of textures and details have been inspiring. Here, separated two examples. The first is the look that Camila chose, which brings a mix of shades and materials of different finishes, as the high waist sequin shorts with the velvety texture blouse. It is modern and can be worn in several occasions. My choice was the transparent blouse, all lace with a victorian style with large sleeves. As for the black flared trousers, it was ideal to give a modern touch to the look – not to mention that I am in love with how wide the bottom is.

On the runway, a match of references. Both Elie Saab and Italian Versace, the encounter of classic tailoring with the transparencies in color cards were the highlight of the collections. The brands have invested in black blouses covered by lace, to play with the contrast of the pants, the first in flare, the second in cropped length.

As for Mugler, the glam of the 80’s predominated the spirit of the collection. The high point? The super striking and the varnish shoulder, which gave even more modernity to the combination. In the combo jacket + tailoring, blue is the protagonist of the look, with the right shiny texture for the power jacket, while the black pants have more of a loose modeling and receives a sporty touch thanks to the stripes on the sides. With a predominance of blue, the dress is well defined on the waist, short and the skirt gets a black leather pleated detail on one side.

Leather is repeated as preferred material to renew the black & blue. For a nocturnal powerful and cool look, Alexander Wang presented dark blouses with overlapping black sleeves, blue pants and boots. With a French chic touch, Stella McCartney took to the runway a mix of jacket with dress, which received a maxi collar, a slit and a very feminine well defined shape.
