My loves!!!
Who follows me on social media probably saw that I was in California, at the invitation of Dior, to watch their 2018 Cruise show. It is always such a privilege to honor this brand that I love so much and that is part of my story. (I vlogged the trip and will put it up as soon as I edit it)!
The show was held in the beautiful Las Virgenes canyon in Calabasas, on the outskirts of Los Angeles, in the midst of the desert. The environment had tents for the guests and custom balloons in the atmosphere of the collection entitled Dior Sauvage. It was a magical experience and totally different from everything that I have lived in the fashion world!
I chose a beautiful dress from the new collection of the brand, with a white top and a flowy silk skirt. I wore it with white boots, which gave more power to the look and broke a little of the feminine vibe, giving a more cool touch. I finalized with a metallic purse and Choker. Check it out:
As expected, the collection was magnificent! The designer, Maria Grazia Chiuri, was inspired by the discovery of prehistoric cave paintings from the caves of Lascaux, in the 1940s. I was in love with the leather jackets, hand-painted, silk fringes and chamois on the blazers. The highlight of the colors was on the earthy tone looks that mixed with black, white and red.
