On the opposite chain to all those larger format frames, the sunglasses are increasingly gaining traction on the runways and street style. Whether they are cat-like or round, all this mood that involves a retro vibe comes with grace and versatility. Fashionistas are already showing us how to wear and match them with their looks of the day. Moreover, some rules of how to choose the model that goes well with the shape of your face are also losing the sense for some people. Today, the secret is to try it out and see which ones look good on you, whether it be aviator, circular or the more adventurous types.

Among the models that have been a bit hit are the small round ones, like the ones Camila and I wore during this past fashion week.  The option chosen by her has that bridge between the rims, which brings modernity and sophistication. In my case, I went for sunglasses without details to leave the main focus on the accessories, necklaces and earrings, for a stylish and uncomplicated ensemble.

On the runways, Akris chose the mirrored lenses (also a big trend right now) as allies in the mini shape. As for Acne, they left the metallic finish just on the edge of the lens, which gives a cool and urban touch to look.

And the rounds are not the only marking headlines. Balenciaga and Antonio Marras showed that they are fans of new rectangular formats, some more pointy, others more delicate.

The super feminine cat shape with its reference of the 50’s, also appeared reinvigorated with their elongated sides and all black in Rochas Winter 2016. As for Stella McCartney, she presented a very girly and chic cat eye to her silvery lenses with a black superior contour.
