How was your New Years?! Did you enjoy the festivities?!
I hope that 2017 comes full of health, peace, joy and lots of light for all of us. So I will begin the year suggesting an incredible destination. One of the places that made me sigh of enchantment the most. Let’s begin to dream?
So, imagine the plane arriving on a very green island formed by a relatively small volcanic mountain (less than 40 square kilometers) and bathed by the most bluest sea that exists on the face of the earth. To top things off, this influx is surrounded by a ring of spectacular atolls that makes the sea seem like a giant pool full of marine life. There are fish of all colors of the rainbow, super peaceful sharks, many rays, octopus and turtles. Therefore, this is Bora Bora. A place difficult to describe, with such magnificent beauty. It was not by chance that it received the title of “most beautiful island in the world”.
Bora Bora is far from Brazil. It is part of the archipelago of French Polynesia, in the South Pacific. It is totally worth all the effort. The easiest way to arrive is via Chile. You need to do 3 flights of more or less 5 hours each. Not to mention the waiting time at the airports.
In regards to lodging, I would say that Bora Bora is very democratic. I experienced the luxury version and the total simplicity of staying half the time in unbelievable Four Seasons which is one of the most exclusive atolls in the island and the other half in a bungalow on the water, in the central island, rented by AirBnB via internet.
The Four Seasons is pure luxury. One of those special places to enjoy the best of life. In the central island the glamour is lower. However, it has a spectacular beach called MATIRA which you must check out. The water is neon blue. Unbelievable!
I had the chance to really experience the island and enjoy one of the best hotels in the world. Whatever your choice, I assure that you will forever keep the good memories. It is a place beyond special.
