2014 was the year of burgundy lipstick. It circulated in all places and the ladies decided to lose the fear and risk it. Pantone has already pointed out that the color Marsala (a nuance of burgundy) will be the color of 2015, burgundy will continue to rein our lips. With this in mind, I made a selection of sophisticated makeups to wear with this shade of lipstick. A great choice for Christmas!
To star off, the diva Katy Perry with opaque makeup on the eyes, beige and brown with classic black eyeliner. For the lips, a burgundy plum tone.
Emma Stone’s makeup follows the same style of makeup as of Katy’s, however, it incorporate a beautiful pearl tone shimmer to highlight the eyes and give the look a more young feel.
Shimmer also appears in Rihanna’s beautiful makeup. The eyes are a blend of brown and copper. For her lips, a stunning burgundy shade.
I loved this combination of Shay Mitchell’s makeup. A metallic gold tone along the lower eyelashes and opaque brown on the upper concave of the eyes. The burgundy chosen for the lips was a classic Diva style by MAC. evel in concave. The wine chosen for the lips was a classic style Diva of MAC.
For Selena Gomez’s makeup, we can see burgundy on the lips and also blended lightly on the concave of her eyes. For the upper eyelid, a beige opaque eyeshadow, black eyeliner and fake lashes to finish off.
Kylie Jenner is amped up with Marsala burgundy lipstick, stunning eyes with brown and shimmery beige eyeshadows along with fake lashes. Stunning eyes and lips.
Stunning eyes and lips runs in the family! Khloe Kardashian (for those who don’t know, is Kylie’s sister!) was such a diva with this smoke brown with light peach shimmer for the eyes. to finalize, a burgundy lipstick with a brown undertone.
