Ladies!
You all know how passionate I am about skin preparation, and like I always say, concealer is a magic product that gives a boost not only to the skin but also to the whole makeup! In addition to disguise imperfections; such as raccoon eyes, spots even pimples… the concealer highlights the skin, giving further prominence in the eyes (in more elaborate makeups)! I am a huge fan, and if I had to live with only a single makeup product in life, I would choose the concealer! I swear! It is the product that leaves me more confident, and in today’s post, I am here to share with you my top 3 favorites, the ones I have been using for years!
Radiant Creamy Concealer by NARS (my color is: Custard) : It’s no secret my love story for this concealer, right?! I started using it right after I started with the blog, and I haven’t let go of it since. This one is by far my #1 favorite!
- It has high coverage but not heavy on the skin and is super easy to spread. In addition to conceal, it also highlights and lasts long on the skin. It does not crease and comes in a super practical packaging, in gloss format. Perhaps it is too heavy for mature skin that already has many expression lines/wrinkles – but even so I believe that I will use this concealer for the rest of my life hahaha. I love it and I highly recommend it!
Instant Age Rewind by Maybelline (my color: Neutralizer) – My mom was the one who introduced me to this concealer! Yes, she also loves doing her makeup! haha I actually saw her using it and I loved it’s finish, so I decided to try it out.
- I was impressed with the quality – it covers super well, it’s mild on the skin (perfect for more mature skin) and it’s superrr practical. I use it a lot on my day to day, and sometimes to retouch – it gives a beautiful glow. The cool thing about it?! The Price! Haha Super affordable and easy to find.
Secret Camouflage by Laura Mercier (my color: SC3) – The makeup artist’s favorite. I confess that when I gave in to the Secret Camouflage, it was after so many makeup artists told me that I had to have one in my purse haha. I bought it and I don’t regret it – quite the opposite, it is one of the few items that I always carry with me.
- I don’t use the Secret Camouflage as a concealer, I like using it as a highlighter, to give that final touch to the makeup and retouch below the eyes during the day – since the texture is pretty light, it doesn’t feel cakey, you know?! It is perfect! I use it with the beauty blender. I have been using it for over a year now and I can’t live without! haha
