To be able to attend Vogue’s Gala is always so special, but the most exciting part is the preparation! This year, the gala’s theme was Africa (#PopAfrica) – I loved it and have several ideas for it! “I want to really incorporate the African tradition!”

My dress was made by Trinitá, a super sophisticated brand that makes beautiful party dresses. Together, we thought of and drew out the dress. The print was inspired on Dashiki, traditional African wear. I loved it and it turned out exactly as I imagined!

My makeup was also within the theme. I did cornrows with a golden string which gave a beautiful effect on the braid. My makeup was really neutral, bold eyes (no cat eye) and nude lipstick – a great inspiration now for carnival!
