The trend of sheer maxi skirts had its heyday in 2015, and now earns highlight in international runways!
The shape reminds us of the ballet universe – a highlighted theme in the winter 2016/2017 collections of brands like Carolina Herrera and Valentino -, with pieces worked in tulle and lace.
It was also the inspiration of Camila’s look (all by Carol Bassi) during fashion week. The high waist skirt in lace brought romance to the outfit, while the white t-shirt with patterned writing brought a fashionista touch to the look as a whole.
On the runways, Dolce&Gabbana brought the trend to his Sicilian wife with a set made entirely in lace, with tulle details on the borders. To make a counterpoint with transparency, the Italian duo invested in hot pants style underwear.
As for Dior, now under the command of Maria Grazia Chiuri, presented in its summer 2017 the strength and delicacy of women, who goes on battle without losing their femininity. The tulle skirts gained handmade details in embroidery and meshed perfectly with the printed t-shirts. Young&cool without losing its elegance!
Burberry and Chanel proposed new combinations, with flowy shirts and flare sleeves.
Regardless of style, the piece brings several facets of a woman. It emphasizes femininity as well as ensure comfort in the right measure!
This trend is definitely worth trying out!☺
