Guys!!!

It’s amazing how Brazil is so beautiful. There are many places of natural beauty. One of them is the Iguaçu National Park. Are you guys familiar with it? They are the most impressive and beautiful waterfalls I have ever seen. You know how many waterfalls form the complex? Two hundred and seventy-five. It’s a lot! The volume of water that falls is enough to scare with its constant roar.

It is a nice trip to be done in a short period, between 4 days and one week, which you can also visit  breaks three countries: Brazil (Foz do Iguaçu), Argentina (Puerto Iguazu) and Paraguay (Ciudad del Este).

Argentina is the privileged location. It owns two thirds of the falls. Brazil has a smaller part, but in compensation it is the most beautiful and organized of this Natural Heritage of Humanity that in 2011 was elected as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. So deserving of this title!

The most interesting hotel to stay at is the Belmond Hotel das Cataratas, which is within the park on the Brazilian side and it’s INCREDIBLE! A luxury in the immensity of the complex. From the balcony of the hotel, the sunset is a must see.

In addition to visiting the falls from both the Brazilian side as on the Argentine side, be sure to include in your itinerary the threefold Brazil-paraguay border-lands, the Itaipu Hydroelectric Plant and the Bird Park. If possible, definitely take a helicopter ride, it’s beautiful and makes you feel so small amongst such immensity!

When you are on the Argentine side, take the time to have lunch and dinner there. There are great restaurants, but don’t expect luxury, they are simple. As for Paraguay, it is worth a quick stop. However, know in advance that it’s not such beautiful place with great attractions, but there are several shops that sell those “inspired products by renowned brands”.

The ideal for traveling through the three countries is to get a car with driver who has a license to cross borders. This streamlines the displacements. Ah! Final Reminder: be prepared to get wet! haha.

Now, changing the subject! I am going today to California where I will spend 20 days. If you have any tips to send me, don’t hesitate to do so.  Follow me around through my Instagram @blogviajarpelomundo.com
