If there is a “symbol” color of the summer, without a doubt, it is yellow. There is a whole cheerful and vibrant universe which makes the solar color card even more attractive – moreover, the paradisiacal sceneries of the season are a perfect match.
To bring even more energy to the looks, there are a number of ways to renew the aesthetics – either with tailoring, overlays and unexpected accessories. Here, two fashionista examples. The first is from Camila, with this young, modern and bold style. See how the combination of the yellow dress with a white t-shirt gave a new face to the look. As for my choice, I went for clochard marine pants, which is a perfect option to give sophistication.
Talking about monochrome ensembles, the runways brought many inspirations to create even more opportunities to incorporate the color to our outfits. Carolinha Herrera bet on super chic silhouettes with specific layers of ruffles. As for Roksanda, a cool and elegant fluidity in the model that overlaps the long pants (a trick of styling to keep an eye on).
To modernize the lighter shade of yellow, Derek Lam created a suit that brings details of male shirts (with the closed collar), the bellows pockets and structured shoulders and sleeves models. As for the asymmetry, it was the creative way that Prabal Gurung used the trend.
The game of shapes and lengths was the choice of Christian Siriano to renew the all yellow. With the idea of lengthening the silhouette, Tibi chose a romantic midi option with waves on the hem and cuffs.
