After a flurry reference of chromatic combinations and prints, it’s time to return to the simple (and very chic) monochrome. I am an absolute fan of monochromatic neutrals or vibrant looks. It all depends on the mood and not just the season.

To create visuals with a fashionista pinch, it is worth betting on some infallible tricks, which value different shades. Here, Camila chose pink as the protagonist of the look during fashion week and notice the game of textures that she created. The mix of overlays with the wool maxi coat and satin 2-piece set is sophisticated and yet gives a lengthening to the silhouette (a great point of monochrome ensembles). For my glacial proposal, I adopted for a mixture of striking models – pants with a wide frame, a blouse that defines the waist and an asymmetrical cape.

On the runways, thousands of inspirations. Christian Siriano invested in the winter classic with the velvety aspect and lining of the coat with satin. It is a coordination of aristocratic and modern touches, thanks to the styling with cuissardes boots. As for Sally LaPoint, one of the brands that won me over during NYFW, opted for the white turtle neck sweater, clochard pants and a jacket with large sleeves – the contrast of silhouette that caught my attention.

With knitting and few points of patterns on  the pants, Ulla Johnson presented a perfect urban version for proving that there are not so girlie options to wear pink. The always chic gray appeared on Michael Kors’s runway with pursing on the neck and waist in a stylish and super-feminine way.

The Italian Max Mara, the point of knit with braids is the highlight of the light earthy look, which is the same shade in the chalk-striped pants – a tailoring item that carries a boyish image perfect for the adept of the mix and match of shapes.  The long satin dress by Cushnie et Ochs, a high level of sophistication in contrast to skin X fabric.

Regardless of color, the way you elect to wear certain shades from head to toe is a path without too many rules. Today, wearing dark in the winter and bright in the summer, is already in the past. It is important to invest in the unexpected and impress.
