One thing for is certain, monotony and sameness do not match with Dubai! The city is daring by nature. It was born in the middle of the desert and surprises us more and more. It’s a novelty after another. I love it! Every time I go, a new hotel to experience and jaw dropping restaurants.
This time it was the Palazzo Versace Dubai. So much elegance gathered in one place. After all, we are talking about a palace inspired by the world of one of the greatest icons of haute couture, and more than that, the hotel is a tribute to Gianni Versace. So by that you can imagine the amount of style! And that has plenty of it in that beautiful place that took eight years to build on the seafront, on an arm of the Creek (a seafront that runs through Dubai).
Its architecture is marked by a fusion of Italian neoclassical with Arabic touches. The refinement is total whether in the spectacular mosaic of the lobby made of 1.5 million pieces, in the furnishings-art or in the 215 rooms decorated in soft shades of blue, beige and salmon. It’s one of those places you do not want to leave. The pools are delicious, the spa is of the gods and the restaurants are incredible.
Highlight for the trendy Enigma restaurant, inspired by Persian cuisine, curated by chef Mansour Memarian (Michelin star), where you live a true gastronomic experience. Several dishes are prepared at the table and the creativity is impressive. Leave the choice of dishes on the chef’s behalf and enjoy yourself. I guarantee it will be an unforgettable experience. The restaurant is a must in Dubai.
The hotel is 15 minutes from the airport and 20 from the Dubai Mall, in a quiet area, perfect for those who want to enjoy Dubai and at the same time relax, in style, of course!
