In my last video on my English channel, I talked about my TOP 5 Matte Foundations and as some of you asked, today I came to talk about my favorite hydrating foundations.
Hydrating/dewy foundations are great for those who have more dry or combination skin. I usually wear them when I’m in a city with drier weather (such as Los Angeles) and also wear them a lot in the winter time. I usually use each type of foundation depending on the weather or commitment/event, so I end up testing various finishes and brands which makes it easy to select my favorites.
Starting off with Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk, my TOP 1 of the moment. The finish is light to medium and you can build layers. What I like the most about this foundations is that it looks beautiful on the skin, leaving it looking healthy without leaving it shining and the best thing is that the fixation is incredible.
The second favorite is Nars Sheer Glow! It has medium coverage and also leaves the skin with a natural look, covering all imperfections and spots on the skin. The feel to the touch is satiny, it does not weigh on the skin and will not leave a “cakey” finish.
The Teint Miracle from Lancôme is one of those that leaves the skin with photoshop coverage and natural light without weighing anything! It has a technology called “Aura Inside” which makes the skin gain a very special luminosity. The skin is left looking beautiful as if you were born like that. Haha! I highly recommend it for people with oily skin!
The cheaper ones are not left out of my list either. This one from L’Oreal is wonderful and on my skin it lasts for many hours without melting, it also has vitamins A and E, wheat germ and SPF 17. Its coverage is medium and, like the others above, leaves the skin perfect but with a natural aspect that we love!
Finally, I had to talk about the Studio Skin by Smashbox! It leaves the skin perfect for hours and still looks great on photos and videos. Its formula covers imperfections, has medium to full coverage leaving the skin natural-looking, moisturized and oil-free.
What did you think of the tips? What are your favorite hydrating foundations?!
