We all know that denim is and has always been a classic in fashion! One of the most versatile pieces of this blue denim universe is the jacket. The trend has been appearing for a while now in street style, but in the last week of international fashion week, is when it really made its comeback and showed us that this trend is here to stay!
The main precursor of this fashion style is the designer Demna Gvasalia – First in his collective Vetements, and then in his first collection for Balenciaga.
After him, luxury brands such as Stella McCartney, Alexander Wang, 6397 and Miu Miu also began to bring the trend to their collections, in looser molding with a more sexy touch.
A possible way to show a new “side” of a woman. More practical, versatile, without leaving aside the elegance and femininity. Freedom for her to be who she wants!
The combinations are varied: the jacket can compose a more urban look and total jeans, even match with tailored pieces to give a a more laid back feel to the look (like MIU MIU presented).
