Many of you always ask me what I do to keep my hair hydrated, and I confess that with the rush of my everyday life and the fact that I don’t have a routine, I had to adapt and find ways to make my hair soft and moisturized. After all, because of work and events, I always have to use straighteners and curling irons and almost never have time to go to a salon to do that special hydration.

So today I came to give you some quick and easy tips to include in your haircare routine. I have applied them in my day to day for years, and although they are basic tips, I realize that these steps make a total difference on my strands.

Once or twice a week I use nourishing masks that give strength and shine to my hair. But first of all the essential thing is to analyze if your strands are dry and needing hydration, damaged and asking for a good repair or if you just need a little something extra. Once you have identified the need for your strands, purchase a suitable mask. That will make a total difference.

Use and abuse oils! In addition to always applying one or two drops of concentrated oil to the tips of the hair to reduce frizz and seal the cuticles, once or twice a week I sleep with coconut oil on my strands. Apply a lot on the length, make a bun and sleep. The next day I wash normally. The result is instantaneous. I love it!

Finally, never leave aside products with thermal protection. This is one of the fundamental steps to keep hair healthy, after all, they can protect the hair from the heat of the dryer, the flat and curling irons, and also shield the strands of external action, such as UV rays.
