Whenever I discover something new or an incredible tip, I find a way to tell you, after all, a good tip is a shared tip, right ?! So for today’s post I have listed some tricks that are easy to reproduce but that leave the makeup with a professional finish making a total difference in the final result. The truth is that there is no right or wrong when it comes to makeup, but, yes, ways to apply a certain product.
Ready to write everything down?
Thermal water before, during and after
I love thermal water and I use it a lot! I always talk about my love for Caudalie’s beauty water, I feel a total difference in my skin when I use it. The finish is much more natural and with a professional effect. Another tip is to leave the thermal water in the refrigerator and apply before you start your makeup. It refreshes the skin and closes the pores. I love it!
Bet on a good makeup sponge
For me, there is no better tool to apply foundation than the sponge. I always use it! The tip is dampening it well before using so it helps to save product – because the wet sponge does not soak up so much foundation – and the effect of makeup is a bit more fresh. It is also worth having an exclusive one for just cream contour.
Baking technique
No wonder this is one of the Kardashians’ favorite tricks! The baking technique is nothing more than applying a lot of translucent powder in the dark circles area – after the concealer – and if you want it below the contour line and let it act (“cook”) for a few minutes. Then just remove the excess with a chubby brush and that’s it! The makeup effect is flawless, the pores are camouflaged and the skin is super highlighted.
Voluminous lips
Whenever I want to let my lips more voluminous, I line my lips with a lip liner a little over then I apply a lipstick of the same color. To give even more of a highlight, I apply highlighter on the cupids bow region and the center of the mouth. It looks beautiful!
Perfect smokey
The trick to achieving a perfect smokey without effort is to take little product at a time and build the intensity and color gradually, layer by layer. Always remove excess eyeshadow from the brush by tapping the back of the hand. This will give you more control and help you create a beautiful gradient!
Voluminous Eyelashes
Finally, for those who like voluminous lashes, but do not want to apply falsies, the tip is to use two different types of mascaras. Apply the first layer with one that gives volume, wait till it dries then apply the second layer with one that defines and lengthens the lashes.
