Seasons come and go and it is always among the most worn (and desired) pieces by fashionistas. The white coat, in its various aesthetics, is what we call an important item in the wardrobe. Not only because it is neutral (which automatically guarantees versatility), but because of its elegance and modernity. In recent times, despite all the flood of vibrant colors, I invested in good full white ensembles. During my days of the last international fashion week season, I bet on the classic black and white with that traditional-chic look in the shape of the trench coat and the bag with geometric detail. Camila chose the combination with jeans and a transparent purse, another trend that is strong right now which gives a fresh touch to the looks.

On the runways for 2019, there are endless inspirations. Dries van Noten played with the sun-colored shades with shoes and fringed skirt and yellow inserts while 3.1 Phillip Lim presented his super elegant all-white. Notice the super voluminous fleece collar.

Off-white presented its trench coat without many visible buttoning, as it is in the traditional format, and has brought a wealth of textures, between transparency and overlay. As for Jil Sander, the structured jacket was the protagonist and made an incredible match with the pleated miniskirt, with cheerleader inspiration.

Adeam transformed the double buttoned jacket into a dress with a powerful slit. Another detail I adore is that type of maxi collar on just one side; it’s so sophisticated! As for Italian Max Mara, the maxi coat brings elements of tailoring and finalizes with white pumps. An ensemble to inspire!

Fashion showing that clothes have long lives with special shapes! Besides being democratic, the white coat is what we call a timeless piece.
