While there is much uncertainty and anxiety in the air around the world right now, one thing most of have in common is that we’re spending a lot of time at home. We can all agree that staying at home as much as possible is the safest thing we can do for each other during the coronavirus pandemic to help flatten the curve and slow down the spread, but it’s definitely a shift from our normal routines. If you’re lucky enough to be able to work from home, then you’ve probably already realized it’s a strange transition from getting dressed and heading out the door every day to remaining in one place—and it’s tough to find the motivation to put on real clothes. Although staying in the same thing you slept in the night before is tempting (and if it works for you that’s great!), for most people changing into something new to start the day in helps them feel motivated to tackle their to-do list.
Some of us are still getting dressed everyday to feel as normal as possible, others are seeking outfits that are different from their pajamas while still remaining ultra-comfortable—and if the latter is what you’re seeking then this is the post for you! Comfortable work from home outfits are all over our Instagram feeds right now and we figured it would be nice to highlight some of our favorite ideas for everyone to draw inspiration from. From silk pajama sets to cozy loungewear and knits, the perfect WFH outfit marries comfort and style. Try a cute matching set of sweatshirt and sweatpants or shorts, or if you don’t have one try pairing your favorite sweatshirt with shorts or pants of a similar color to create your own set. You can also try pairing a t-shirt with your favorite sweats, high-socks, sneakers, and a baseball hat that transitions perfectly from the house to a walk around your neighborhood.

Activewear is also a genius WFH outfit idea because when you’re finished working, you can transition right into your at-home workout. There are so many amazing trainers and studios offering free online classes to help us stay fit and healthy during this time—checkout Revolve’s IGTV sessions or @Trainwithdanny‘s daily IG Live workouts for short sessions that will provide a great workout (just to name a few). Brands like Alo Yoga, We Over Me, Koral, and Year of Ours make activewear that not only moves with you during a workout but is also cute and comfortable. And if you’re looking for loungewear that also checks that comfort box while making you feel polished, we love brands like Zara, Cotton Citizen, Beyond Yoga, and Free People.
