What I like most about a new year is that it comes with new trends, both in the world of fashion and beauty. 2015 is blaring with so many trends, fantastic and others that I don’t want to even go near (haha). With that in mind, I am here to show 4 hair trends that we will see a lot this year. They are:
Ice Blonde
You know that golden tone that we thought was fantastic and as soon as we saw celebrities rocking it it gave us the desire to run to the salon and ask for the same? Well, that trend is past us now! The wave of this year are the Ice Blonde, a cold platinum tone, I particularly think it’s beautiful, but it’s clear that it only looks good in some skin tones, right?! The difference of the conventional platinum blonde to the Ice Blonde, is that the new it-blonde is monochrome, it has a white undertone, it does not have any yellow and the root has to be pretty white, so touch ups and hydration have to be done frequently. If being a blonde is expensive, imagine a platinum blonde blonde?!
Granny Hair
This one you will most likely find it different, because it is! The gray hair, those who try to hide, pull-out and dye over, turned into a trend! The gray is already super well seen and often considered stylish in men, but us women, we dread to think when we see a gray hair, right?! The Granny Hair has been seen in many women out there, and I confess that I immediately thought it was weird, but looking at some of the pictures over the internet, it kind of grew on me (not literally haha), but it is for those who really have style! The good thing is that this can be a way to begin to look at the good side of grays growing naturally on our shafts haha.
Short Hair
It’s not just color that turned into a trend this year, the short hair has been coming full force! Many celebrities and fashionistas have already adapted to this trend and cut the hair without thinking twice. I am one of those that had super long hair and I am simply loving the length that it is now, in addition to being much more convenient to style on a day-to-day basis, the short hair leaves us with a more chic and youthful look. The shorter the better! Are you courageous enough to chop your locks off?
Side Ponytail
Essa tendência eu simplesmente AMEI! O rabo de cavalo lateral fez o maior sucesso entre as meninas dos anos 80, e como tudo nesse mundo, ele voltou! Eu adorei, porque, convenhamos, o rabo de cavalo tradicional é bem sem graça né?! Já o lateral deixa com um ar super menininha porém estiloso, e se combinado com uma make incrível então, fica perfeito!
I absolutely LOVED this trend! The side ponytail was a great success among the girls in the 80’s, and like everything else in this world, it came back! I love it because the classic ponytail is pretty boring, right?! However, the side pony gives a little girl sense but also stylish, and if combined with an incredible makeup then, it’s perfect!
