Investing in two strong colors as protagonists of a look is the secret of the latest seasons. If they are in the same group color, believe me, it is sure shot! In the case of the red + pink combo, the 80’s vibe is stealing the show in the casual realm. But the real question is: how do you wear them?

In Paris, Camila showed us how to amp up a denim and turtleneck look with a maxi coat made of a super light and sophisticated fabric, which crisscrossed around the waist. Another amazing touch to the look were the feather mule – the trend is bourdoir!

And, as we know, there are several ways to create the color combination – red and a pastel shade of pink, red in accessories and two pink options. In Joseph, a brand that I love so much, the tailoring gained a new look – and super modern – in the vibrant pink of the coat, the high collar blouse and the wide leg pants folded up. As for Givenchy, a thousand and one details and textures mixes the light pink as in the fur coat and the dress with micro patterns, and as for the red, we see it on pantyhose and handbags.

The true pink showed it’s faces and dominated the Fall 2017 collection of Oscar de la Renta. The large coat and a pair of skinny tailored pants join red on two proposals: the first, a geometric pattern peeks through the maxi coat, as for the second option, the long sleeve blouse plays with zigzag patterns. Modern and very stylish!

Fausto Puglisi invested in two ways to match. A coat covered in fringe + straight cut pants in a more streamlined and sophisticated ensemble. As for the look with a rocker vibe, the bomber jacket and the skirt with a slit mix the colors in a striking jacquard.

Finally, the absolute femininity of Valentino. The colors dominated the latest collection of Fall 2017. Pierpaolo Piccioli created a romantic vibe with lightweight pleats, folds and layers of lace and transparencies.

Endless combinations to wear in any occasion. Ready to enter the red & pink trend?!
