One of the types of posts that you guys like to see here on the blog are those that talk about hairstyles and tricks to make the hair beautiful and moisturized. Therefore, of course I had to give some tips of what I do to wake up with beautiful and shiny hair.

With the busy of the day-to-day, it is difficult to find time to care for the strands as we should so I take advantage and apply some products before bed, after all, this is one of the best times to hydrate them. Moreover, we save time in the morning avoiding bad hair day and it is still possible to wake up with dreamy hair without much effort.

COCONUT OIL

At least 1 or 2 times a week I use coconut oil, which is one of the best natural products to use before bed. I usually apply a lot on the length of the strands massaging well (I never apply on the root) comb and tie in a bun or braid. In the morning I wash and dry my hair as I normally do. It makes total difference and the strands get very soft.

NIGHT TREATMENT

Night-care creams are also great allies to leave the strands moisturized. They have the most diverse functions: some repair, while others nourish, moisturize, finalize, and there are even those that recover opaque strands. The cool thing is that most of these creams have the texture that resembles a gel, which helps not to get the pillow dirty, and in general, this type of cream does not need to be washed in the morning, just wake up and enjoy the benefits. Always remember to research a product suitable for your hair type.

CHANGE YOUR PILLOW CASE

This tip seems silly, but it makes a total difference. Choose a 100% cotton or silk pillow case, so the fabric will make less friction in contact with the yarns and the result will be more behaving strands and less frizz.

TIE YOUR HAIR

Last but not least, if you do not have time to do any of the above tips, never sleep with your hair loose. During the night we spend an average of eight hours with the hair in contact with the pillow, rubbing and kneading, and the lack of care at that moment can make them tangle and break, so one of the best ways to protect the hair is to tie it with a soft elastic (those of fabric are my favorites) so it wont break the strands.
