There are a lot of spring 2020 trends to be excited about, from bra tops to suiting to major statement sleeves. But there’s one trend that was all over the runways and is already all over the streets: Two-tone designs. Patterns of two color tones blocked together geometrically is adorning everything from jeans to swimsuits, and this trend is only going to get bigger next season.
If the two-tone trend intimidates you, try pairing it with a solid-colored piece of the same color family. For example, say your two-tone piece is a pair of black and white pants—you would add a solid black sweater on top and black boots and your outfit would be set. If you want to get more adventurous, you can add a piece with a small pattern or bold-color on top.

You can expect to see many major brands and retailers offering this design in the next few months, since spring collections will be launching soon. If you can’t wait until then to get your hands on the trend, brands like The Row have chic outerwear in two-tone designs while Staud and Prada have bags adorned in this pattern right now.
