Little by little, as the vaccination progresses, life begins to show signs of returning to “normality” in the world and brings new hope. It has been many months in isolation without any freedom. In France, which has suffered so much from the pandemic, some hotels in the capital are reopening to celebrate the arrival of summer. Among them is the charming and elegant Le Burgundy. Light at the end of the tunnel!
The five-star hotel is located in the heart of the City of Light, in the 10th arrondissement and opens its doors with redesigned sanitary protocols, adopting strict health standards and social distance. Its suites have different decorations and many works of art. It’s a hotel full of character.
And it brings newness to the kitchen, which reopens with the appointment of pastry chef Pierre-Jean Quinonero who, together with chef Guillaume Goupil, prepares a dinner at Le Baudelaire restaurant entitled Back in Paris, exclusively for guests for the time being, but with an expectation of welcoming everyone in soon.
Oh how I miss walking the streets of Paris, seeing the boats glide along the Seine, walking through the parks, seeing life happen, sitting at an outdoor table in one of the many cafes in the city, having a glass of wine with the Eiffel Tower as a background. Good to have Paris back.
