And it was thinking exactly about a place with this vibe that I chose Itacaré, in Bahia, and more precisely Barracuda Beach Hotel & Villas to write this article that marks my five years of collaboration with the best #TravelTips for our dear Camila Coelho.

It is already one of the most coveted hotels in Bahia. The hotel has only 17 minimalist suites, spacious, well-lit, with decor in soft tones, spectacular balconies that open onto the forest with the immensity of the sea on the horizon.
The highlight is the infinity pool with sun loungers, comfy cushions, and delicious drinks. A place you don’t want to leave! Around the pool is the restaurant, which is wonderful and uses very fresh local ingredients from breakfast to dinner.
To discover the best hideouts in Itacaré, Barracuda Beach offers an incredible service with an “experience designer”. You can make all your requests and they will be fulfilled, from visiting the most pristine beaches, hiking to the many waterfalls in the region, surfing lessons, meditation, rafting, stand up paddle in the rivers, mangroves and the sea, visiting a cocoa plantation and whatever else you want.
Itacaré is an incredible destination in southern Bahia and Barracuda Beach came to bring even more shine to this region, which was discovered in the 70s by surfers. Write this tip down because it is powerful.
