My second day was super busy! It began with fittings – I must confess that I love this process, it’s so great to arrive at a showrroom and put together outfits. I loveee it!
For this first appointment I wore a comfortable look with striped pantacourt and a silk sleeveless top with ruffles. I finalized with metallic oxfords by Paula Torres which gave a total shine to the look! These types of shoes have become desire this season and it has the power to make the look super cool.
My second task of the day was to watch Akris show, a French brand that I love! I watched it in Paris last season and now they showcased their collection in NY! For this collection, pieces with clean cuts were presented, a variation of beautiful colors, and geometric prints. Everything was super fancy, powerful and full of style.
To check it out, I wore a monochrome look with pieces from the latest runway show, which are already available in the stores. Moreover, these accessories thou, stunning!! The bold necklace and bracelets gave a strong touch to the look, don’t you think?! I finalized with black patent leather boots to leave the look even more stylish!
Later in the day, I went to Tommy Hilfiger’s show, who always Wow’s us with his presentations! Tommy always surpasses our expectations and this time it was no different. The brand set up its own amusement park on the South Street Seaport Pier, with a giant ferris wheel of more than 12 meters high, colored lights, hot dog stands, potato chips and pretzels, it was a spectacle! The collection was in collaboration of Gigi Hadid (which also walked the runway) and everything was beautiful, full of nautical references, maxi shirt of high collars, sheer dresses, cropped tops, leather jackets and sporty looks. Tommy was one of the brands that invested in the concept of see-now-buy-now, at the end of the show, the pieces were already available for purchase in stores inside the amusement park. It was absolutely amazing!
To attend the show, I chose a colorful and super fun knit look which I matched with navy blue linen shorts. I finalized with black boots with metallic stars. A super young and comfortable ensemble to go along with the vibe of the show!
