I am here today to talk about a trend that I have been seeing with frequency on the street style sites… fashion critics and celebrities have been rocking turtle neck shirts and dresses!!! That’s right, turtle necks are back in style, and the interesting thing is that we are used to seeing them on the streets during colder temperatures. What has really caught my attention is that they are seen in cooler looks as well as for the summer season! Fashion is cyclical and we are tired of listening to this, however, it is worth pointing out that a trend always comes back in a different way, innovative! This time, high collars, or turtle necks, as they call it, has been complemented with a stylist touch – when wider, the cool thing is to leave a bit of hair partially inside, giving a cool feel to the look. On the other hand, if the garment is ‘body conscious” for example, tighter on the body, what you should do is style it with a nice and trendy necklace – – “à la fashionista”! Now for the rest of the garments, you should match it according to your personal style or with which looks better with your combinations… for the more casual, you can overlay with a jumpsuit, for the elegant, how about a monochromatic look? And for the laid back, the good old oversized knit speaks for itself and really shows the fashion DNA that you have! 😉
