One of the most important red carpets of the year took place this past Monday: The MetGala, with the theme of Manus X Machina, Fashion In An Age Of Technology. A great choice because there were various incredible looks full of metallic details, which you already know how much I love, right?! Hahaha.
I selected 5 looks and makeups that I liked the most. Check them out:
Starting off with Kendall Jenner that always takes our breath away! She chose this daring and sexy full of cutouts Versace dress. As for her makeup, a more classic and basic with lots of mascara and flash lashes. I love her style!
Still in the “Kardashian” vibe, I had to talk about Kylie, which is the total opposite of Kendall, right?! Haha. She arrived in a dazzling Balmain dress full of wonderful embroidery – she showed more details of it on her snapchat for us to drool over! Her makeup was classic in a style in which she loves, a brown smokey and nude lips. To finalize, she always surprises us with her hairstyles, this time she chose a short bob which gave a more serious touch to her ensemble.
Jourdan Dunn stole the show with this STUNNING Balmain dress, all in metallic and full for transparency. I think this was one of my favorites! As for her makeup, she chose this amazing black smokey with silver shadows in the inner corner of her eyes. Her short bob also gave a more serious touch to her look.
Emma Watson always surprises us with her dazzling ensembles! I am still in doubt if her choice this year was a dress or pants, but even so it was beautiful. The look is by Calvin Klein and it was amazing! Her hair was super chic and her makeup was very simple, after all, she doesn’t really need a lot of makeup to look beautiful, don’t you think?!
Finally the Goddess, Blake Lively, which is expecting her second child and continues to steal the show with her looks. I found the Burberry dress super romantic, in a Disney princess style. LOVE IT! Her makeup was also very classic and with a red lipstick which matched well with the flowers on her dress.
