Hair parted down the middle? No, the choice of the moment was the familiar diagonal parting, with the hair completely loose. “This year we’ve seen a lot of actresses opting for side parted hair, with slight waves or completely straight. It’s timeless and uncomplicated, making the look super chic. For those who want to replicate it at home, simply style your hair with a styling brush, make a well-demarcated side parting and finish with hairspray,” explains hairstylist Rudi Werner. Ariana Grande, Danielle Brooks and America Ferrera are some of the names who have sported this look.

And if you have frizz, don’t worry: the expert shares a perfect trick for controlling the most unruly strands: “Apply hair spray to a makeup brush and apply it to the areas where your hair is frizzy,” he recommends.

In makeup, the eyebrows were the highlight! “Emma Stone, Anya Taylor-Joy, Hailee Steinfeld and other celebrities showed up with beautiful eyebrows that were the icing on the cake. We always talk about respecting the natural shape of your eyebrows and understanding what harmonizes with your face, rather than going for generic shapes, and that’s what the three of them have done. The result is natural, much more voluminous and imposing eyebrows, as well as a striking look,” explains micropigmentation specialist Fátima Bahia, from FR Microcenter.

And regarding the choice of earthy tones in the details of the skin and even in the contour of the lips, makeup artist Ju Monteiro comments: “On the lips, mainly, we saw variations of nude, usually one or two tones above the natural tone of the lips. This was the case with Emma Stone and Billie Eilish. On the cheeks it was no different, pink blushes gave way to bronzer and terracotta versions”, comments the expert.
