I am so excited for tomorrow because its one of the holidays that I like the most – Thanksgiving! Here in the US it is celebrated always on Thursday, however, in Canada it is celebrated on the second Monday of October. I love this holiday because it is a time where we gather with family and friends and give thanks to all the blessings we received throughout the year and also express the love and affection we have for each other. It is one of the most important holiday here in the US. In addition, many families travel far so that they are able spend this time amongst each other.
Another great tradition of this holiday is the food. Families celebrate this day with a great feast with various delicious plates, where typically turkey is eaten (hence it is also known as Turkey Day), sweet potato, mashed potato, pumpkin pie, apple pie, pecan pie, among many other things. Now you know one of the reasons why I love this date so much, right?! Haha.
However a real Thanksgiving is not complete without a proper décor, hence the reason why I here to share with you a few decor ideas that I found on the internet so that you can grab some inspiration for this special day.
