The Dolomites alone make your eyes sparkle. They are listed among the 50 Italian areas protected by UNESCO. They are part of the Eastern Alps and some of their mountains are over 3,000 meters high. A spectacular place both in winter and summer. In winter there are more than 1,200 kilometers of ski slopes of all levels. In summer, the trails on foot or by bike, the many lakes and rocky cliffs that attract climbers are the main attraction.

Now add to that an impeccable hotel, hidden in the mountains, charming and full of glamour. Yes! It exists. It is the coveted Rosa Alpina, in the village of San Cassiano, commanded for three generations by the Pizzinini family and that now gains reinforcement by sealing a partnership with my favorites in the hotel industry, the Aman group.

Have you thought of the perfection in the form of accommodation? Well, that’s exactly what it is. The hotel that until now had the family’s DNA, with a super discreet and traditional mood gets even more sophisticated with the arrival of Aman. The ski season will open on December 11, 2020. From then until 2022 the details will be aligned to seal the Aman Rosa Alpina partnership.

The 52 rooms available at the hotel to guests are coveted to the fullest. They are spacious and cozy. It is really difficult to get a reservation for the holiday season when several Italian families have a captive reservation in Rosa Alpina. Many of my Italian friends spend Christmas and New Year’s Eve at the Dolomites. It is a very beautiful region.

Oh how I miss it! I already want to go back. The winter season runs from December to early April. I recommend without a doubt. This partnership has everything to work out. The Aman group excels in hospitality, excellence in service and discreet luxury.
